Hawaii Animal Rescue Foundation is a unique, private, non-profit charitable organization in Maui County that, for more than 10 years, has been committed to the philosophy of people helping animals and animals helping people. We are a “Every Adoptable Pet Saved” rescue center that relies heavily on tax-deductible contributions from private donors to continue our life-saving mission.

We are back at the Maui Village Mall for adoptions every Saturday from 11am to 2pm (between Longs Drugs and Whole Foods Market. Stop by to check out our adoptable dogs.
Adoptions are also being held at the HARF Center every Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 3pm or for other hours during the week by appointment, please call us at (808) 876-0022 to make an appointment.
HARF Families who need to pick up Flea/Tick & Heartworm preventions, can come to the HARF Center located at 1715 Kahekili Hwy. Wailuku, HI 96793.
HARF Mission
To promote the compassionate treatment of animals through education, advocacy, and services.
For the animals, we provide a safety net that helps ensure all are treated with love, care, and respect.
For the community, we foster collaboration & engagement among the public to care for and protect our animals.
For the youth, we deliver humane education to students, including at-risk youth and those who have received, viewed, or been affected by trauma or domestic violence.
We recognize that problems in our community affect everyone. And we seek to find healthy and holistic solutions to address these problems.
