At Hawaii Animal Rescue Foundation, we know that there is no greater gift then your time. We appreciate and welcome all who want to volunteer to help animals in need no matter your age or skill set.

Please note that shift sign ups are broken down by age as we love our younger volunteers, but need to have enough adult volunteers that are able to handle dogs at the HARF Center.

** RIGHT NOW ALL VOLUNTEER SHIFTS ARE BY AGE GROUP. THE GROUPS ARE 19 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, 16 TO 18 YEARS OLD AND 15 AND UNDER. PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP FOR SHIFTS THAT MATCH YOUR AGE CATEGORY.

DURING THE WILD FIRE RESCEU PERIOD, WE ARE HOUSING OWNED PETS, NOT HARF ANIMALS SO NOT EVERY VOLUNTEER IS ABLE TO HANDLE ANIMALS.

Step #1 to becoming a HARF Volunteer:

Please fill out the Student, Volunteer or Foster application using the link provided below. Once you have completed the application, you will be able to sign up for new Volunteer shifts at any time.

Step #2 to becoming a HARF Volunteer:

Please go to the Volunteer Shifts or Volunteer Calendar links below and sign up for the shifts that you would like to volunteer for at HARF. Please contact HARF if you are unable to complete your volunteer shift so that the spot can be opened up for another volunteer to participate as spaces are limited.
